Our 17 Core Principles

  1. We believe unequivocally that Ohio’s better days are ahead of her.
  2. We believe our leaders should focus on how government policy affects you at your kitchen table.
  3. We believe in putting good ideas ahead of partisan labels.
  4. We believe power in the hands of the people is always better than in the hands of government bureaucrats.
  5. We believe in the age-old wisdom that teaching a man to fish is better than giving a man a fish.
  6. We believe in the redemptive power of competition and free choice.
  7. We believe dependency on government should be temporary, targeted, and only after community-based organizations have had a chance to help.
  8. We believe government should never compensate workers more than their private sector peers.
  9. We believe government always should exercise fiscal responsibility.
  10. We believe entrepreneurs and small businesses are the foundation of our economic health.
  11. We believe government should work for the benefit of the people, not the other way around.
  12. We believe the promotion of liberty must be a paramount goal.
  13. We believe all citizens should share in the cost of government, no matter how small their contribution might be.
  14. We believe monopolies stifle competition, reform, and progress, so should be eliminated from all segments of society.
  15. We believe the federal government should exercise only those powers expressly listed in the Constitution.
  16. We believe taxes should be as low as possible and government growth should never drive tax policy.
  17. We believe that the only special interest that matters is Ohio.

If you believe in these principles too, then join us in renewing the greatness of Ohio.
