Flip This House

Tuesday, September 4th, 2007 By David Hansen

We suggested here in June that Gordon Gee would be facing a ratcheting down of perks if he left Vanderbilt, a private institution styling itself as the “Harvard of the South,” for a public university serving a state where jobs are dwindling and state resources are tight.

Apparently not.

The Dispatch reports that the in-coming President of The Ohio State University gets another $2 million spent on his Bexley residence, including providing an exercise center. This makes it $12.5 million different institutions have spent on construction, rehabbing and renovation of the official residences Gee has happened to occupy over the years.
