Cornucopia
Friday, May 23rd, 2008 By Mike MaurerYou won’t be able to wash off the oil of disingenuousness after reading this story .
“If we’re going to point the self-righteous finger at some, we should point it at others,” said Ohio Democratic Party Chair Chris Redfern. [He took that attitude toward Dann, too, until he didn't.]
Speaker Husted isn’t going to let anyone outdo him, though: “If other counties came to me and asked for this, it’s likely that I would be very receptive,” Husted said. [And if they wanted to poke themselves in the eye with a stick, they'd find he'd be willing to listen.]

Mike:
I am looking forward to your support for reforming Butler County government as well. Add Delaware County to the list, too. Reform can take alot of shapes, Mike. I hope you and others look for it, not just in political affiliation and hyperbole, but in real, tangible, evidence.
And your silly post about Marc Dann is laughable. Try to keep the Buckeye Institute focused on policy issues, Mike, and not cheap, shallow political shots. Unless BI is actually a political organization.

Good to hear from you, Mr. Redfern. All in good fun and good policy, eh?
[Ed. Note: The Buckeye Institute supports free markets and individual action. Manifestly, this makes it unrelated to any political party in Ohio.]
