I’ve been waiting for this one: “McCain pledges loan support for automakers“

Well of course he does.

But I have to love this second paragraph of the AP report:

Mr. McCain, who visited a Detroit-area General Motors Corp. plant earlier in the day, pledged his support for a loan package for domestic automakers he’d previously looked at with a skeptical eye.

I’m sure AP points out every inconsistency of McCain, Palin, Obama and Biden with equal vigor and admirable consistency. C’mon, guys. It’s hard enough to get the facts, much less put your refutations into the lede. Politicians are lying, switching positions and debasing themselves? Geez, it’s enough to make you hope for change.
