Shout out to our friends in Greene County

Thursday, January 22nd, 2009 By Mike Maurer

Our friend Jay Tieber has a nice column in today’s Xenia Gazette, with a thoughtful take on (ahem) the impending federal stimulus:

I have the idea that the President should fire all of his economic advisors and submit his policies and plans to the judgment of the marketplace before putting those ideas into effect.

We think so too, Jay. Unfortunately, we’re about to spend eight years–if we’re lucky–relearning the lesson that Ronald Reagan already taught the Soviet Union.

Oh, well. As President Obama says, we’ll just have to dust ourselves off and remake America.
