Both Senators George Voinovich and Sherrod Brown voted this evening to bail out Wall Street using taxpayers’ dollars.  While not surprising, it is disappointing that neither senator is willing to protect his citizens’ money from bankers and others begging to be absolved of responsibility for their irresponsible decisions.

The Leadership Institute is bringing a “Grassroots Campaign School” to Westerville, Ohio on August 23, 2008.   The cost of the course is $20 per participant which includes course materials and lunch. (more…)

Ohio University’s Richard Vedder received the Adam Smith Free Enterprise Award from the American Legislative Exchange Council today, and he and Rep. John Adams, R-Celina, speak about ALEC, higher education, the income tax and transparency.

Ken Blackwell, the Buckeye Institute’s Ronald Reagan Distinguished Fellow and former Ohio Secretary of State, testified before a Judiciary subcommittee of the United States House of Representatives regarding the 2004 presidential election in the State of Ohio this afternoon.
