Compare Your Salary
The results below represent a range of compensation packages for State of Ohio government employees by profession for the year 2010. The hourly rate, overtime, sick pay, and vacation leave figures are taken directly from the state data whereas the salary and pension figures are extrapolated from the hourly rates in accordance with the standard 2,080 hour work year and 14 percent taxpayer-required pension contribution, respectively. The healthcare figure represents the average for all state government workers. We included sick pay in the total compensation figure, as we don't know which state workers received sick leave payouts versus payments for using their sick days.
