Greg R. Lawson will be a featured speaker at a forum, “Ohio’s Property Tax Crossroads: Relief, Reform, or Repeal?” hosted by the Strongsville GOP.

Property taxes have become one of the biggest issues facing Ohio homeowners. Across Ohio, taxpayers are asking hard questions about rising bills, school funding, local government spending, state policy, home valuations, and the future of homeownership.

The event will begin with a presentation on Ohio property taxes from the 1980s to today, examining how much property taxes have grown after inflation, how that growth compares to population growth, and what it means for Ohio taxpayers.

Featuring:
Greg R. Lawson, The Buckeye Institute
State Representative David Thomas (R-Jefferson)
John T. Plecnik, Lake County Commissioner
Brian Massie, Ax Ohio Tax
Moderated by Shannon Burns, Strongsville GOP
